Through large and small group discussions, case studies, and a final assessment, this course will help students understand the required topics, as set forth by the Idaho Department of Finance: Licensing and operation of mortgage brokers and lenders, licensing and regulation of mortgage loan originators, general provisions of the Director’s supervision, examinations, records, financial statements, and reports, the mortgage fraud recovery fund, disclosures and advertising, residential mortgage loans, enforcement, investigation of violations and unsafe practices, remedial action, disciplinary and other actions, prohibited acts and penalties.
