LIVE WEBINAR STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Course Sign-in Sheet and Rules of Conduct
The course sign-in sheet (and NMLS Rules of Conduct for Students for loan originators) will be emailed to you prior to the class. If you have questions on the rules of conduct, you may email the instructor prior to class, or ask your questions when we review the NMLS Rules of Conduct for Students at the beginning of the class.
You’ll be required to fully complete the sign-in sheet, read and sign the NMLS Rules of Conduct for Students, and email these two documents, along with a copy of your government issued photo ID no later than one day before class begins. The instructor will check your identity and signature again, just before the class begins, and authenticate your identity through knowledge-based questions.
Personal Appearance and Professional Environment
Students should attend the course properly attired. The space in which the student is taking the course should be free or clutter and distraction. The instructor and potentially other students may be able to see and hear you during the webinar so plan to act accordingly.
Verification of Full Attendance
Your full attendance is required to earn your end-of-course completion certificate. CE Forward requires your instructor/facilitator to make sure you are not surfing the Internet, conducting other business on your computer, or engaging in other household activities.
Confirming Presence of Students
CE Forward instructors will routinely poll or ask every student to respond to questions to confirm your presence throughout the course. Any missed question or poll will prevent you from earning your end-of-course completion certificate and you will be required to reschedule.
Process to Remove a Student for Lack of Presence
If a student does not respond to questions, the student will be asked again to respond. After three attempts to engage the student, if there is no response, the instructor will remove the student from the course. Course credits will not be earned and there are no refunds once class begins.
Tardiness
Students must attend the entire course.
We will begin and end at the posted time.
We will take a ten minute break at the top of every hour.
All-day classes: We will take an hour break for lunch from noon to 1PM.
Students are required to be seated and on camera at all times class is in session.
If you are unable to complete any portion of the course, you will be required to reschedule.
STUDENTS WHO ARE DISTRACTED OR A DISTRACTION TO OTHERS
Distracted students are distracting to both the instructor and to other students.
