Q: Are there any restrictions about discussing the selling agent commission with the buyer? (An agent from class thought this was not permissable.)
A: Here is a PDF of the MLS rules. Commission rules start on page 21. The above might have been a specific rule put into place by a broker.

Today, Elizabeth Warren, head of the Congressional Oversight Panel assessing how the TARP funds are being used. She gave a brief talk about the bank stress tests we talked about at the beginning of class. This video is short and worth your time. Elizabeth does a great job of explaining the banking problems in easy to understand language.
