This course meets the requirement for the 3-hour mandated Core Curriculum and learning objectives effective Jan 1, 2010 through Dec 31, 2011. In this course students will learn about the Carbon Monoxide Statue, Labor and Industries requirements affecting licensees, brokers, designated brokers, and real estate firms, licensing laws and federal laws regarding title insurance referrals. we will learn the new home inspector referral and disclosure laws, understand property management activities, agreements, recordkeeping, and funds management procedures. Students will also have a working knowledge of the distressed property law, foreclosure basics, and mitigation basics such as loan modifications and short sales. We will also discuss how to work with third party Short Sale Negotiators, red flags to watch for, and a list of interview questions you can ask before hiring a third party Short Sale Negotiator.
