This course meets the state requirement under RCW 18.85.481(2) license renewal for those who became licensed prior to July 2010. This course must be taken by licensees by their first active renewal date on or after July 1, 2010.  This course focuses on changes to the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Washington Administration Code (WAC) rules. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate familiarity with the new license classifications registrations, and endorsements; Understand the new mandatory requirement for fingerprints and background checks for new licensees, Describe the process for meeting the fingerprint requirement; Be able to describe the educational requirements and specific responsibilities associated with each license level; Understand the duties of a designated broker, managing broker, and the types of duties that can be delegated to subordinates, understand trust account and record keeping responsibilities, know the requirements for a firm license and become more aware of property management duties.
